Artwork Guidelines for Print and Embroidery

Good artwork helps your logo reproduce clearly on workwear, uniforms, teamwear and promotional clothing.

Best file types

  • AI, EPS or SVG vector artwork where available
  • PDF files created from vector artwork
  • High-resolution PNG with transparent background
  • High-resolution JPG files for simple reference or photographic artwork

What makes artwork suitable

Clean edges, clear shapes and enough resolution are important. Very small text, fine gradients and complex details may need simplifying, especially for embroidery.

Colour and brand matching

Send any brand colour references, Pantone numbers, previous proofs or thread colour notes if the finished garment needs to match an existing uniform range.

When artwork needs work

If supplied artwork is too small, blurry or unsuitable for clean production, we will let you know before anything is printed or embroidered.
