When samples are useful

• New starter uniform ranges
• Mixed men’s and women’s fit requirements
• Jackets, trousers and garments where fit matters more
• Large club, school or staff orders
• Orders where garments will be embroidered or printed and cannot be returned later

What to check

Check fit, fabric weight, colour, sleeve length, layering room and how the garment feels for the role it will be used for.

Reducing order mistakes

Once a sample is approved, keep the style code, colour and size notes for repeat orders so future staff can be added consistently.
