Care and Washing Guide

Good washing and care helps personalised workwear, printed clothing and embroidered garments last longer.

General care tips

• Wash garments inside out where possible
• Follow the care label inside each garment
• Avoid harsh detergents and bleach unless the garment label allows it
• Do not iron directly over printed decoration
• Allow printed garments to cool before stacking or packing
• Check specialist PPE and hi-vis care instructions before industrial washing

Embroidery care

Embroidery is durable, but care should still follow the garment label. Avoid pulling loose threads and do not cut into stitched areas.

Print care

Printed garments should usually be washed inside out and kept away from direct iron heat. High temperatures can shorten the life of some print finishes.
